Faith in a hypothesis can create the fact that validates it.
When an option between two beliefs is live, momentous, and forced, logical intellect alone cannot decide the matter. Passional nature must step in. Refusing to choose is itself a choice driven by the fear of being duped, which risks missing truth entirely. In cases where faith in an outcome—like jumping a wide mountain chasm—is required to accomplish the act, believing ahead of evidence creates the very reality that makes the belief true.
