The Argument: Without Contraries is no progression.

Rintrah roars in the barren mountains while the just man is driven into desert paths by hypocritical mildness. Energy and Reason, Good and Evil, are necessary to human existence. Good is the passive that obeys Reason, while Evil is the active springing from Energy. Attaching moral damnation to desire misinterprets the dynamic engine of creation.

The Voice of the Devil: Energy is the only life.

Sacred codes claim God tormenting desire in hell, but energy remains the sole vitality of the cosmos. Reason acts as the bound outer circumference of energy, not its tyrant master. Those who restrain desire do so only because their desire is weak enough to be restrained. Restraint creates a phantom governor, replacing active delight with passive obedience.

Proverbs of Hell: Excess opens the doors of perception.

Wisdom arises from pushing instinct to its absolute limit rather than enforcing prudent moderation. The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom, and pruners sever the vine only to impoverish the fruit. Tigers of wrath possess greater instruction than horses of instruction. True vision requires cleansing the windows of perception so that everything appears as it is, infinite.

Isaiah and Ezekiel: Poetic Genius speaks the voice of God.

The prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel dine in hell and explain that God speaks through human imagination. Isaiah discovered the voice of God not in external dictates, but in the firm conviction that an honest assertion creates reality. Ezekiel asserts that Indian and Western faiths arose from individual poetic genius framing universal principles. Submitting imagination to dogmatic priesthood enslaves nations to rigid idols.

The Printing House in Hell: Knowledge is engraved through fire.

Knowledge moves through six chambers in the underworld to strip away illusion and reveal immortal forms. Dragon-men clear away garbage, pythons ornament the cave, and eagles carve palaces in the rock. Unnamed metals melt into fluid truth before taking shape as bound books. Corrosive fires melt away the opaque coating of dogma, leaving behind unclouded, eternal reality.

The Angel and Devil: Dogma breeds its own monsters.

An orthodox angel shows a fiery abyss filled with spiders and a Leviathan, claiming it awaits the damned. When the skeptic steps away, the terrifying illusion vanishes into a pleasant harpist by a quiet riverbank. The angel's own rigid theology projected the monster out of self-righteous fear. By exchanging perspectives, the angel transforms into a devil, embracing the fiery energy he once condemned.

A Song of Liberty: Empire falls when desire reclaims eternity.

The Eternal Female groans as empire and religious tyranny attempt to suppress wild instinct. A starry king casts down the newborn child of fire, but the infant shatters rigid laws and reclaims the sky. The priests of ravenous authority can no longer bind energy with golden commandments. Everything that lives is holy, and freedom obliterates institutional control.
