Prison suffering collapses time into an endless cycle of pain
Solitary confinement strips away the natural progression of seasons, replacing the movement of months with an unchanging schedule of monotonous pain. Outside the cell, seed-time and harvest continue in golden sunlight, but inside, twilight remains constant in both glass and heart. Memory becomes a static loop where past humiliations recur every morning as present realities. Suffering is not a sequence of events to be recorded, but an inescapable immobility that binds the mind to its central wound.
