Adventurer Kirby plummets through a geyser shaft into a subterranean world lit by luminous cavern ceilings. He encounters Naida and a band of young women defending themselves against shaggy ape-men who throw spore-releasing fungi. Pulling his automatic pistol, Kirby shoots the lead attacker, driving the terrified invaders into frantic retreat through the underground jungle.

CHAPTER IV → CHAPTER VI

Ancient relics and modern arms prepare rebels for war.

Kirby and Naida take refuge in the high tower of the tyrannical ruler Duca. Inside the fortress, they discover vast piles of gems alongside a massive diamond carved into the head of the Feathered Serpent Quetzalcoatl. Alongside these sacred riches, Kirby finds modern rifles left by previous explorers, giving the women effective weapons for their uprising.

CHAPTER VII → CHAPTER IX

Betrayal turns a sacred ceremony into a desperate battle.

As Kirby and Naida gather at the temple altar for their wedding, the deposed Duca unleashes a horde of ape-men through secret doors. Armed with rifles, the women hold off the charging beast-men until the Duca orders a second assault. A hidden trapdoor opens beneath Naida, allowing her captors to drag her into the dark depths below.

CHAPTER X → CHAPTER XII

Environmental monsters deliver swift justice to deceitful tyrants.

Pursuing Naida's captors to a forest clearing, Kirby draws the giant white serpent Quetzalcoatl into the battle using rifle fire. The colossal snake devastates the ape-men horde and crushes the fleeing Duca in its coils while Kirby lowers Naida's suspended cage. Escaping together into the subterranean jungle, the survivors set out to establish a self-governed society.
